The littles had their Easter egg hunt on the patio.
Audra didn't pick up any of the eggs. If she found one, she would point to it and let Nathan get it. Her job was to hold the bowl and help find them.
By working together, they found them all.
It was then time for the bigger, more experienced Easter egg hunters. Their egg hunt was in the living room.
There was a flurry of kids as they ran around looking for eggs.
Nathan and Audra were not supposed to help with the advanced hunt, but the older siblings were gracious enough to let him look for eggs.
Kirstina could have cared less about all the frenzy that was happening around here...she was content to sit and eat her Pretz. After the kids found all of the eggs, they sat down and began to dig into their candy. Everyone, this is, except for Audra. She went up to the table with the bowl of Easter eggs and began to peel and eat several eggs.
All of the candy was new and different this year, because it was all Japanese and not anything they had eaten before. One of the things that the kids were curious about was Japanese marshmallows, because they are so different from American marshmallows. So, the Easter bunny brought some lemon flavored marshmallows for the kids to try. There was a small amount of liquid in the middle that really added to the flavoring. Some of the kids liked them, others didn't.
It was kind of a small and short Easter Bunny celebration, but I suppose that it o.k. Easter isn't about the Easter Bunny anyway.
