Gyoza

One of the Asian foods that we really enjoyed eating in America were gyoza.  When we came to Japan, we watched a Japanese Cooking 101 video on how to make them.  The ingredients are readily accessible here, and we have made them a few times.  Even the kids help since they are not hard at all, just time consuming.  If we all pitch in and help, we can make quite a large amount of gyoza within just a few minutes.  The kids all do pretty good, even the ones that Audra makes aren't that bad!
Perfection.  Oh, how we love gyoza!  Making them fresh has kind of spoiled us a bit.  We don't make them fresh often, but when we do, we can tell a big difference in taste from the ready-made ones that we get at the store here.  I'm so glad that we learned how to make these while we were living here!
